About the Project

Leg.iA is a web app that provides each law firm with its own isolated workspace. Within each tenant, users at different permission levels can:

• Register and manage clients and cases (case number, instance, contract, demand, start date, status, etc.)
• Upload and organize documents (PDF, DOC/DOCX) per case
• Track all events (hearings, meetings, deadlines) via an integrated calendar

The MVP focused on delivering a solid, secure practice-management foundation.

Design

• Mood & Palette:
  • Professional, trustworthy interface with navy blue accents
• Layout & Components:
  • Sidebar nav for quick module switching
  • Responsive grids for case lists and document libraries
  • Clear detail view with tabbed metadata, files and calendar
• Tools & Process:
  • Wireframes and high-fi prototypes in Figma
  • Design tokens to enforce consistency in color, typography and spacing

Development

• Implementation by Gabriel de Jesus using React, Node.js/Express and AWS
• I provided the design specs and validated key UI/UX components
• Deployed on AWS with secure file storage and authentication
